The Tempo Argo saddle features a shorter length that allows the rider to sit further forward without exerting excessive pressure on sensitive areas. It also includes an ergonomic cutout designed through detailed pressure analysis and input from medical professionals. This versatile saddle suits various riding styles, with the Tempo Argo version specifically engineered for endurance riding on modern road bikes with balanced geometry.

The padding of the Tempo Argo saddle is crafted from fizik’s Type 2 foam formulation, which is slightly thicker around the sit bones area to support an upright riding posture. Unlike the padding used in racing saddles, it is softer and more progressive to offer enhanced comfort during long-distance rides. Argo is a result of the collaborative effort of industry experts and academics in the fizik Concepts program, which focuses on researching and analyzing technology, design, physiology, and bike-fitting to enhance cycling performance.

The Argo Tempo saddle combines a carbon-reinforced nylon shell and S-Alloy Rail for a ride-compliant construction. It features a short-nose design with ample support for the ischial area to promote stability, along with Wingflex technology that allows the shell's edges to flex and adapt to the rider's leg movement. The Type 2 Foam provides progressive cushioning with a lower compression modulus for added comfort. This purposeful design shape helps riders achieve a better riding posture, making it suitable for various training purposes.
